“Starry, Starry Night”

Couples Club Prom Night, with the theme, “Starry, Starry Night,” will be held Monday, April 10, at 6 p.m. at the Event Center.
The theme is from that song, published in 1971, sung by Don Mclean about Vincent VanGogh:
“Starry, starry night, paint your palette blue and gray, Look out on a summer’s day, With eyes that know the darkness in my soul…”

Come and reminisce with music by DJ Jeff Oliver.
Shake it up with songs such as ‘Mustang Sally”, “Oh Donna”, “Satin Doll”, and “Chantilly Lace”.
Drag out some 60’s threads and join the fun. Don’t be square, be there.
There will be a queen and king contest, with the final judged by DJ Jeff.
Dressing in 60’s attire is optional.

Early arrivals may socialize in the foyer of the Event Center.
Beer, wine, and soda will be at the self-serve bar early on and throughout the evening.

The event will be catered by Girard’s in a food station style.
Station 1 includes red potato salad, little grilled cheese sandwiches, and cornbread cupcakes topped with hot dog smokies.
Stroll on to Station 2 for crispy tostada bowls, topped with chili-lime shrimp, taco mac and cheese bites, and guacamole-deviled eggs.
Then on to Station 3 for pesto sausage pizza, chopped chicken Caesar bruschetta, and beef lasagna cups with ricotta cheese and basil marinara.
The final Station 4 will be an ice cream sundae bar with vanilla and chocolate ice cream, and strawberry, chocolate, and caramel syrups with other toppings of your choice.

Send your checks in the amount of $45 per person or $55 for each guest made out to Couples Club of Rossmoor by March 31.

No assigned seating. No event reservation checks should be placed in the Club mailbox at Gateway!
